The road is closed between the west side of the bridge to just up from the Montecito-side turn that brings the road parallel to the stream. (‘Boulders placed to block’ closed.) One of the lanes is, for a modest distance, gone. It is unlikely the road will reopen to motor vehicles by race day, but foot traffic will (one hopes) be OK.
